    problem with MP4 videos

I'm having a problem with certain MP4 videos, they don't play on my Samsung 2011 / D-series Smart TV. This TV nativily supports my videos, I'm able to stream with WMP 12 with no problems. So for some reason KooRaRoo doesn't play certain MP4 bluray-rips, TV says "file format unsupported". These files are MP4 with H.264 codec. Could it be an issue with Kooraroo's device profiles for the Samsung D-series? I've disabled transcoding since Samsung supports all my stuff. Or possibly it's to do with the audio codec? The MP4's that don't work, all tend to have 6CH AAC sound.

Can you please right-click on one of those files in KRR and post the output of the "File Information" command (or send it through http://support.kooraroo.com) - it could be the file description or the audio or perhaps the video encoding, I'll know better once I see the information about the file.

Thank you for the file information. The current profile for the D-series TVs will attempt to remux such files (because of the 5.1 AAC audio stream), so we need to test two things - first is whether the TV can play these natively over DLNA and second if the current file description as delivered by KRR for such files is what the TV expects. I suspect one of those changes will make it work properly.

The easiest way to do this is if you can open a ticket through http://support.kooraroo.com and I'll send you an updated device profile to try.
