Stuttering Issue on 2013 LG TV - 42LN5700

    Hi there,

I've just installed the trial version of KooRaRoo and while I like the interface, I'm getting some pretty bad stuttering issues when playing any file, whether I "play to" the device through the application on my computer or I play it from the smartshare app on my TV (which is what I would like to do). I've tried Plex Media Server, which will play the same files fine, but it seems to have some disconnect problems that I've run into and it can't restart files that have been stopped in the middle. Anyhow, any suggestions on how to get this working? Here is an example file I've tried to play that dies:

    Code:
    Video, DB: 101, Thumb: 1593
    S [h264, 28], bitrate: 0, framerate: 23.98, level: 41, profile: 100, flags: 0x0, flags2: 0x0

    Hi,

Can you please tell me the make and model of your device? Also, please check the Devices pane and see which device profile is used for your device. Based on that, I can either suggest a different device profile, more appropriate for your device or we'll look into getting these files to work.

Hi there, the TV is a LG 42LN5700. http://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-42LN5700-led-tv

I checked the profile, I tried LG TV and LG TV (2013) profiles, both to no avail. Seems I get the stuttering either way I go. I've tried a few other media servers and I don't get the same stutter.

Thank you for the make and model, sorry, I should have noticed that you have it in the subject of the thread.

It should play those files natively, so stuttering is not caused by transcoding (most likely). I'll need to see some logs to investigate this further, so please enable logging by ticking the Enable Logging item under the Tools menu. After that restart the server using the stop/start button on the toolbar and try playing a file again. Once it begins to stutter, stop the server and send the logs to support (at) kooraroo (dot) com. To find the logs, please go to Tools -> Options -> File Locations and click the Open button on the Logs folder.
