    Just registered and am impressed

Here in the UK some of us have a Line Router which is separate from the Home Hub..
I have plugged in a 500G Usb Drive to the Home Hub and started to test from the HH to the
42Panasonic TV [2012] in the lounge by ethernet cable..
Recorded 'ts' files drom the Sat receiver work a treat and are as original quality.. but not tried Hi-Defn ones yet..
Slight hiccups with simplistic 'wmv' files ...but thought I'd establish my goodwill here first..

    Ernest,

Thank you - I'm glad you like KRR and we'll iron out those WMVs. Can you please right-click on one of those in KRR and post the output of the File Information command here or open a ticket through http://support.kooraroo.com and we'll take a look. Also, please check the Devices pane and let me know which device profile is used for your TV.

    and the Device profile says
This device profile should be used with Panasonic Viera TVs models DT, E, G, GT and UT manufactured in 2011 and later.
    and is
    PAN Viera TV [DT/E/G/GT/UT-series.2011]

En passant.. I record to PAN harddrive then the DVD/RW then convert on PC to wmv using Freemake..Could i go from DVD Ram perhaps to a folder for KRR perhaps
    Thanks ernest

Thank you for the file information.

It'll be transcoded using that device profile. Can you please tell me the model of your TV and I'll check if you can use a better-suited device profile in KRR.

Is there a way to copy files directly off the recorder, or must you burn them to a DVD first?
