I have a samsung BD-ES5000 player. I have no problems with most files. But I can't read "m2ts" (AVCHD files) files and "iso"files (images of DVD or BR-disks). What can I do? thanks

ISO file support is coming soon, at the moment only DVD structure is supported.

With those M2TS files - do you mean that they can't be read into KRR or they are read into KRR, but are not played back on the device? If they are in KRR, but are not playing, can you please right-click on one such file and post the output of "File Information" here (or send to support)? Do they start playing at all or does the player reject them immediately? What is the error that you get on the player?

FIRST PART

Thanks for your quick answer. These two files are played without problem inKRR with my default madiaplayer "VLC"

Thank you for the information and I'm glad that you like KRR!

I suspect that the framerate of the second file is the issue here - the first file is PAL, the second is NTSC. If you have a short sample would it be possible for you to upload it somewhere on a file sharing site, so that I could download and test it here?

In any case, please try transcoding this file from within KRR and see if it plays after that.

You'll need to:

1) in KRR right-click on this file and select Transcode
2) select your device from the list near the top
3) select a format on the right (any will do, but if you choose MPEG2 make sure it has "pal" in its name) and then tick the "Full transcoding" checkbox to completely re-code the stream
4) once transcoding starts (you'll see in the status pane), try playing it again on the BDP and see if that works

Another way to try is without ticking "Full transcoding" - this will simply remux the stream into another container, which may or may not work. Please try both and see what you get.

If that works, you could try forcing the PAL region for all files on your BDP. To do that:

1) go to Devices pane
2) right-click on your BDP and select Edit
3) tick the "Region" box and select PAL
4) click OK and restart the server using the button on the toolbar
5) try playing this file again on the BDP and see if it plays now (it should be transcoded)

Please let me know how that goes.

I did what you said: right click on my file and select transcode... and so on, and if I play after beginning of transcoding it works.
I tried with two other files and it works using mpeg2 transcoding.
After that i tried forcing PAL on the device pane, but it was already done.

But after stopping everything, if a try playing my files an other time without beginning transcoding in KRR before playing on my device i have: "unknown file format"
Thanks for your help.

It's very strange, but it appears that either your e-mail doesn't have a "from" address or it was incorrectly processed by our helpdesk software (I'm checking it with them as well). Can you please check your "sent" message to see if it has a "from" address in it?

If you could just PM (private message) me your e-mail here, I'll update the ticket and send you the update to fix the issue.

Fantastic! it works fine. You should know that before you I tried certainly 10 different softwaret, and I played more or less my AVCHD files only with one (wild media server), but I had to reencode my files with some different parameters to make it working .
So know you are the only one which is working fine without problem and immediately.
Thanks a lot!!!!
