Hello all,

Was wondering if there is anyway to Selective Add new files on a particular folder.

I have a folder set up for all my videos and when I download a new file/video I have to update that folder each time I add a new file. It takes quite a while to update the folder each time when you have over 500 files. Or am I doing something wrong?

Here is my Structure and normally what I do when I get a new file.

c:\Videos
\Number 1 Folder
\Number 2 Folder
\Number 3 Folder
Number 1 File
Number 2 File
etc.

If I add a new folder, KRR does not see the new folder until I update c:\Videos. Or if I add a new File in the Root of c:\Videos I still have to update c:\Videos.

What I would like to do is just select a folder or file to add to the database not have to go through the complete file/folder structure to add one file. I have tried to use the "Add" button on the upper left hand corner, it is always greyed out.

Thanks for any help...

Hi freeop,

Thank you for your interest. To add a new folder you need to select one of the top categories - "My videos", "My Pictures" or "My music", then right-click it and select Add-> File or Add->Folder. Those will be added to the root directory by default. If you want them in another directory you can select Add Playlist - this will create a virtual folder where you can drop the newly added files to. Also take a look at our video tutorials (http://www.kooraroo.com/tutorials.php), as well as Kooraroo Manual (http://bin.kooraroo.com/KooRaRooMedia.pdf). Hope this helps

Thank you very much. That helped a lot with the adding of files/folders. I was not aware of that way of doing things and am still learning.

Thanks again...
