I've been having some problems with my Sony BDP-S590, so I decided to delete the device and let KRR find it again. This worked fine, except that it found 2 devices! One is listed as Sony BDP (which is incorrect, since this profile doesn't support mkv and DivX) and the other as Blu-Ray Disk Player (which is generic). This did not happen previously. Both have the same IP and MAC. I tried deleting the generic one, but KRR dutifully restored it in short order. Will this cause problems? Or can I just ignore it?.

Windows XP, SP3 and KRR 2.3.0

Thanks in advance for any advice.............................Ian

Ian,

This will cause issues if the device profiles are not set correctly - they would need to be set to the same (correct) device profile for both. However, you shouldn't see two devices in the first place.

Can you please send KooRaRooMediaConfig.krr file to support (at) kooraroo (dot) com ? To find it, please go to Tools -> Options -> File Locations and click the Open button on the Databases folder. I'll check why there are two devices there.
